I just heard her Back To Black album tonight and totally understand the hype surrounding Amy Winehouse. I loved the album so much I'm gonna buy it. I'm hooked (no pun intended) on that be-bop reminiscent music and her vocal style!
Some talented people are strung out and fucked up on various addictions but like Mary J Blige (yes I'm a huge fan of her too. Every damn album like an avid collect since she launched in 91') she can use her troubles for material to express herself in the next album.
Her music gets a big fat thumbs up from me.
