Thanks for the lesson on the globalisation of football. Of course I knew all that 10 years ago but thanks anyway.

It's not sour grapes. I can't stand Man Utd as a football club but I do have a respect for them, albeit of the begrudging kind, and you know what, I don't care if they go to Malaysia, the US or anywhere. I don't care.

I also don't care if they have more fans than we have whether that be in Blackley, Basildon or Bangkok. I don't care.

Anyway why would I or any other Liverpool fan knock the Mancs for having a far reaching fan base?

We have a massive one ourselves and if you'd watched Sky Sports yesterday you'd have seen a sports business analyst state that Liverpool's support in Asia was at least the equal to that of the Mancs but as I said I don't care if it is or isn't.

Not for the first time you went off at a complete tangent and jumped to the wrong assumptions.

Oh, I'm sorry. I just couldn't see any other way of taking the following quote, from you: "I don't like making stereotypes but his about the "united" fans that live down our way isn't far off the mark."

You mention stereotypes, and for it to be such a thing, it has to be a common line of thought. It being a common line of thought, I know about it, and can have an accurate guess as to why you seem to have a problem with 'united fans, round your way'.

Why does it bother you that Man Utd fans live round your way, and yet you supposedly don't care how many fans they have, or how far reaching they are?

If I jumped to a wrong conclusion, then I apologise, but that conclusion was 'concluded' on references to a common stereotype, which you say you don't adhere to, yet you seem to contradict upon talking about your local Man Utd fanbase.

What am I missing, Eduardo? (and why do I get the felling your starting to get a little prickly about it all?)

I'm not getting prickly about it all because as I said I don't care how many fans they supposedly have but you are incapable of understanding that.

What gets my goat up is the complete and total rubbish that you come out with.

I'm all for people having different opinions but yours is of the uninformed variety and always has been and to say I'm being kind to you there is an understatement.

You're as bad as your hero Warren and like Warren you're just an argumentative and pedantic git.

I should have known better than to add a reply to one of your posts. Don't worry though. That won't be happening again as I have no intention of reading let alone replying to any more of your rubbish, on any topic, again, ever.

Write what you like. It won't get read by me so why not save yourself the time and effort but no doubt like your hero you'll have to argue the toss and have the last say as always.

I don't think I've been rude. I even apologised if I'd jumped to any conclusions if you cared to check...only for you to call me a 'git' (yet, you're not prickly at all).

And to think I was backing you up against hj4u the other day, with his rants on Liverpool's fans. I can't do right for trying here!

Well, since you're not going to reply, or be consistent with your own views, I'll leave it as you obviously cannot debate when it comes to your football team.

Liverpool are fantastic!
