Sorry BB can't help.
The interior of the Lanc was very cramped and lit by flourescent tubes which didn't make for good slide photos due to both flare and glare.
The Vulcan hangar was the only place at Bruntingthorpe where we were asked not to take photos. At the time we were on a private visit and there was an embargo on photography as sponsorship negotiations (which came to nought in that instance) were at a critical stage.
Try
for Lanc pics inc some interiors and
for Vulcan interiors

Yes you can purchase just about any piece of hardware at the War and Peace Show even a tank, machine guns are in plentifull supply and if you go wearing anything other than combat gear you will look out of place, if you have a military vehicle that you can show then you and another get in for nothing, a mate of mine has a WW2 American jeep which he takes along with his tent and stays for a few days and apparently the beer tent gets very lively during the evening when the show is closed to the public !drink! and from what i have seen of it there are plenty of fit girls there as well !thumbsup!

Never actually made it I am afraid nm!!
I used to drive by the gate every weekend, when I was shagging up north some where and had allways intended to pop in one day.
Just looked at the website, and if I ever manage to take some time off I fully intend to nip along.
To be honest I had completely forgot about the place. So thankyou nm for jogging my booze addled memory.
Peace out
BB

Greetings Beesty
I grew up in London when it was still littered with bomb sites and my parents lived through the war so stories of where they were and what they did was everyday conversation between them and their friends. So WW2 was very much alive to me. At the time I was more interested in man walking on the moon and pop music so appreciated first hand testimony less than I might now. I was also a bit suspicious of the people who bought Nazi Memorabilia which was quite common in the junk shops and antique stalls then. I remember Paul Raymond had a theatre where he staged the "Theatre of War" whatever that was, in the 70's so the war has always provided entertainment for its fans.
As has already been said if it interests you go and enjoy.
