Sorry, Eric, but I'm not too sure what you mean by 'WZR-ish'. I'm just telling it like it is. Roads weren't solely built for motorists -which motorists seem to forget- and paying road taxes doesn't give anyone the authority to 'exercise their rights' over others.

We are all 'road users' in my eyes, whether you get the bus, walk or cycle.

If saying what I feel right is deemed WZR-ish, then so be it! But, just like I told Dibble not long ago: I'm my own man, with my own ideas, wants, needs, moods and sexual perversions (though, unlike some who are still free to post, my perversions are perfectly legal !cool!).

That was the first time I've used the word for anyone but having received yet another email from IT if the word is so offensive I extremely pleased.

Personally I find a word like cunt and twat more rude but they are useful and WZR isn't.

I paid little attention to IT while IT was here and while certain bum-chums miss him I don't.

WZR seems to think that I have some interest in his opinion for some reason and informs me that he has very kindly put his correspondence to me on another website.

My initial thought was YAWN and SO WHAT apart from the obvious YOU CHILDISH TWAT but have asked IT kindly not to email me again.

While its worth a giggle it helps fill my spam box which is annoying enough without some attention seeking prick creating a further invasion of my privacy.

So what is paying road tax for then Sam? Maybe it should be compulsory for everyone to contribute to the roads then if what you are saying is correct?

I think its fair to say if we are bound by law to pay road tax that we know what it is being used for and from what I know every year they only ever spend a fraction of that on road maintenance.

Just a decent, cheap and safe public transport system would do - then you wouldn't need a congestion charge at all. Flat fare structures like in Italy, where a ?1 ticket lets you travel for 60/90 minutes within a region, with as many changes as you want.

Conclusion - this is country is FUCKED and we let twats get away with ripping us OFF !!
