I wonder if Clarkson is a proper trained journalist, like people who write articles each day for the national press - or is he just a journo in the 'columnist' sense, where he verbally tells the jist of what he wants to be written, to a member of the paper's staff, and they write the thing up. That is how virtually ALL celebrity columns in magazines are written. If however he was a PROPER journalist before becoming a TV presenter it is quite likely he does write every word himself.

He was with the Rotherham Advertiser for a while... I suppose instead of the usual "Man Bites Dog" stories, his were "Car Chases Dog"! !laugh!!laugh!!laugh!!laugh!!laugh!

He wrote a very good piece in a column he did a few years ago after he left Top Gear.

He said that although he writes about cars, the main thing is that, yes, enjoy the cars etc but love the writing - the sentence structure and syntax. He said that was more enjoyable than the actual driving part.

Could some please write in to the Top gear office , and ask them to comment on our comments on thes cunts....
