Hawksbee and Jacobs: Some of their feeble jokes are tiresome, but a lot of what they do is very good. I agree with Guilbert that people shouldn't be put off their show by negative comments here. At their best they are well worth listening too.

I used to listen daily to gaunty but got fed up with him basically running the show around himself...... he hardly ever listened to the callers and seemed to spend most of his time plugging cyprus properties.....

He will notice the income drop....... around ?800 per show........ the jaguar may need to go !

Gaunty used to be a CND Commie activist [cf. Garry Bushell, Richard Littlejohn et al] and worked in a radical acting theatre company in Coventry in the 80s. And met his best mate.....

It was Moz who talked Gaunty into moving into radio and got him relief spots on BBC Radio WM- then his own show on BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire. Then BBC Radio London- and then TalkSport.

And now Moz has just knifed him. After 25 years' friendship. Just like that.

It's like Osborne and Rothschild all over again.

Rod had covered for Adrian Goldberg on occasions. I didn't like his style of broadcasting: but never thought he was BNP.

Goldberg can't be on every weekday night as he has business commitments in Brum- well, he has this anyway:

Isn't that the point people are making about this list and the teachers, coppers, etc who are on it? Provided they leave their politics at the factory gates, should it matter what political party or religion they belong to?

In any party other than one of the extreme left or the extreme right, it shouldn't.

In the case of the BNP- or indeed of the SWP and similar left-wing parties, I expect that:

1. MI5 have a regularly updated list.

2. Every manjack on there has a file.

Talksport has turned into absolute rubbish. I only listened to it for the non-sport shows, but now they only have one decent presenter left - and that's Ian Collins. The rest are either pathetic or on-trick-ponies like George Galloway - you've listened to one show, you've heard them all.
