I have lived with a number of female pornstars(but not one in the last 10 years).I accepted what they did,and nearly all of them wanted to sweep that part of their lives, into the past. Some were great girls, who would have done well anywhere. One,that springs to mind(a german) got into porn to pay her way through a german university-Humbolt-and then did a masters in UK.Very intelligent and well adjusted. She married another german(not in the biz) and that lasted for 5 years, and produced a child. She's a great girl with an excellent sense of humour, and has had her own show on German TV(not porn). We may yet get together again.

I see adult films as just entertainment, more fun than a hollywood film. I prefer adult films with a storyline and would like to see more believable adult films that combine good acting with good sex.

In theory I would not have a problem with dating a woman who does adult films. How I would feel in practise I don't know. I'd hope I wouldn't mind. I had a couple over and enjoyed watching them and taking part. If I had a gf (single at mo) I would like to watch her being made love to. I think most people make too much about sex. Honesty is the big issue in my book. Without it there's little. I think care and closeness are big parts of a relationship. For me sex is not enough. Friendship is essential. I'm not one of those who is jealous. I see a person as a person, not a possession. So I would have no problem in my gf having fun with a guy once she told me. So long as she come home to me at night and gave me most of her free time. Some call that an open relationship. The key thing though is the honesty, sharing the adventures and of course safe sex.

I'd like to think I'd watch the film that my partner would act in after she made it, to be friendly with her colleagues and give my opinion on the scenes.

I guess what bothers people about a partner doing adult films is that she's no longer exclusive to him. ie he's not the only one that gets to make love to her.

But unlike escorting its fully tested, and she only acts with few guys at a time and its only during the film. ie its work. Although it can be fun, it is work.

I think I would see a partner being an escort differently. I would respect them but feel bad for them. Its the exclusivity of the sex that's the issue. In films or for fun its relatively exclusive, but escorting is unexclusive and unsafe.

A good female friend of mine, who works as cabin crew "confessed" over a few drinks one night !!

"Back in the early 90's a girl friend and her toured around europe, seeing the sights, having some laughs......after 6 weeks the money was low and it looked like a return to blighty when....... sun batheing topless on a beach in southern spain they were approached by a "producer" offering them film work for cash !! to cut a long story short they both "starred" for a days filming at a posh villa (condons!) got shagged senseless.....got a shed load of cash........signed the paperwork and had another 4 weeks touring etc....."

She hasn't a clue what film it was......but believes its out there somewhere...on the internet..................she expects one day for it to surface.......BUT she does not regret anything........it was great fun.....she has never had two cocks in the her hands since.......it allowed her to have a longer summer.........it was all "safe" and by the evening they were back at the hotel feeling sore.........but not from the sun !!!!

!happy!

Interesting story, Von Boy.

Quite often I've seen sexy girls in just one single solitary porn movie and have found myself wondering whether it was indeed just a one-off - and if so how and why did they end up starring in a porn flick?!

In the period 05-07, the Mrs and I went through a phase of doing some strictly amateur hardcore stuff (mostly photo stills, but a couple of vids as well) that we swapped and shared with - ahem - "like-minded couples".

Not to make money - we couldn't be arsed with all the hassle and expense of running a Web site for potentially paltry returns. It was just something that we both fancied doing for fun, so we did it.

The novelty of making our own porn has since largely worn off, and we don't bother so much now (and when we do, it's just for private consumption). But we had some great fun with it while it lasted.

We've since come across some of our stuff posted up on various amateur forums and sites. So it's obviously out there and still being 'passed around', as it were. It doesn't really bother us too much who sees it (as long as it's not my ageing mother with her dicky ticker): It's nothing "extreme", is all perfectly legal, all fully consensual etc. etc.

And if by chance anyone we know does chance across it and come over all judgemental, well - fuck 'em"!! (as I said above - what are they doing looking at porn in the first place?!)

The only thing that did piss us off was finding on one site some bloke passing off our stuff as his own (and us as him and his wife, the sad cunt). That did annoy us, but a complaint to that site's moderators saw it swiftly removed.

Also, one thing that really struck us was just how many completely *ordinary* couples make and disseminate amateur porn. People from all walks of life, of all shapes and sizes and from 18 to 80. It really is quite a "mainstream" hobby / business when you look at it like that, with who knows how many millions of people across the world doing it at some level or other. So why the fucking stigma? I really can't understand it, especially when you think of how "acceptable" images of murder, maiming and mayhem seem to be in the "mainstream" entertainment world.

Actually I've just remembered another less serious one.

A tog was on a plane going to New York I think and he kept looking at one of the stewardesses and thought she looked familiar but couldn't quite get where the hell he knew her from. Well this went on for ages (him staring at her) until finally she came up to him and whispering in his ear said, "Yes, it is me but please keep it quiet or I will spill some very hot coffee down your trousers !"

It was Mel Penny.

Society is changing. Making legitimate porn is not looked upon as so shameful as it was in early generations and it has become more mainstream than in the 1970s. What's shameful is how society looks down upon people in porn. No one is being hurt or robbed or cheated. The people who deserve contempt are the Bernard Madoffs and Charles Keatings of the world, the lowest scum in 10K suits. Not the pornographers. Every man who watches porn rates himself as a sex partner at some point and wonders if he compares to a pro. It's human nature to do that even though it is not healthy emotionally. The average man who sees a girl have sex with men with huge cocks assumes he could never satisfy her after them. But this is not the case.

Interesting comments there. I wonder if a girl, who thought her porn life was way way behind her, has ever had someone treat her like a STAR many years later. Not just recognise her, as there is every chance that could happen, even though the girl would rather it didn't, but actually have someone go up to her and say "wow, aren't you *****? Could I have my photo taken with you, could I possibly have your autograph?" If she was there with friends or family they would be wondering what was going on!
