Whilst I was there, Zuma was up on currupt arms dealing charges, Mbeki was allegedly in trouble for trying to influence the judges against Zuma, the top Cape Town judge was reported by the other judges for telling them to go easy on Zuma, the chief of police was arrested on corruption charges, and several other top politicians either stood down or were accused of corruptive activity too!
The wealthy blacks want nothing to do with the poor, nor do the wealthy coloureds or whites.
The minimum wage is ?80 PER MONTH.
Saying that, I've not seen as many Lamborghinis, Ferraris and AMG Mercs anywhere else except Beverley Hills! And maybe Monaco.
It's classed as a good old third world country though, benefitting from the same worldly privileges as those countries with no money at all......

Always interesting to hear from people who have actually lived in these places - rather than the carefully distorted reports you get from the mainstream media. It's interesting to see how comfortable the trendy PC wankers are with the state South Africa is in now. The actual welfare of the black population doesn't interest them, as long as they have a black government. It's a triumph of theory over reality.

I have never understood why Mandella wasn't hanged.
He was convicted of terrorist charges in a country that had a death penalty and very regularly used it, and not just on the coloured population.
If anyone can enlighten me as to why the state never topped him l would welcome the chance to find out.
As for all the comments on Zuma and his cohorts, well, this bastard makes Mugabe nearly likeable.

I may not know as much as you about Mandela but feel free to correct me as Im sure you will.

Mandela to my knowledge wasnt hanged because doing that to an influential member of the ANC back then wouldve made a martyr of him and unleashed all fires of hellish wrath of the African people that would make Zulu Dawn look like Play School.

Incarcerating him was the better move as the hope was still there that him being alive wouldve pacified the masses and lured out the other members of the ANC in consort with him. I picked all this up from watching Good bye Bafana would you believe?

We always come back to the same subject of Africa usually through the likes of Max and Rodders and what not that it seems you support the colonising/ presence of the white man in those countries but resent actually helping the aid being spent on helping the indigenous people there.

I can truly use that word indigenous with the people there unlike Nick Griffin about the "indigenous" people of britain which i thought was a mixture of all those who invaded britain in the past (romans, vikings, normans etc)

Given what Jacob Zuma said about britian being a civilization , I had to agree with that and if he said that about the queen that is obviously how he feels.

I am not against the Royals and it winds me up when brits harp on about the taxes spent on them. I think having the Royal family is one of the things I love about this country and what little traditions it has left.

I can still see through the eyes of a man who can make a comment the way he has done. i cant contest whether the man is a fool or not but I know this, there are bigger fools here in britiain that make him look less foolish.
