i never thought you were seriously interested in putting yourself out for this movie. it was the implication of state surveilllance i was concerned with.
sir quentin, being a blue blooded sort, is probably all to aware of the debauched shenanigans of his well bred peers (although, of course, he's never indulged in anything so untoward himself) and is therefore unlikely to be quite as shocked by what he finds in his intray as he would have us believe.
as for blunkett, i reserve judgement until he leaves office. as you imply, all politicians tend to play to what they imagine the gallery to be when they first take up the reins of power. then they have their first meeting with sir humphrey and lo, their reforming zeal is no longer quite what it was.
re. claire short: i admire her in many ways and for many things but lets not forget she did propose legislation that would have outlawed page 3!
anyhoo, i suspect it's all increasingly irrelevant. the defining fact of our age is that national sovereignity is increasingly becoming a myth. where ever the current tide in western affairs takes us, is where we will end up and ironically, the west vs. islam paradigm of international relations that is replacing the cold war stand off, may well end up reinforcing our liberal values as a means of defining "clear blue water" between "us" and "them".

I watched the tape again last night, which convinced me that it was just her act. The confusing thing is that it isn't clear whether she is 'acting' agony or ecstasy. At one point she does a prolonged bit of 'hamster squealing', as if she is really in pain, and then says 'Dont' stop, don't stop, don't stop! and appears to have (or more likely fake) an orgasm.
If the BBFC really have cut this on the basis that they think she is in 'trauma', they just didn't watch it very carefully, which considering that they charge ?10 a minute, or whatever, is a poor show!
BTW, I never said that I particularly liked the vid. I thought the first 2 or 3 volumes in the series were good, but since then it has gone downhill. It increasingly relies on John Dough and Erik Everhard for the shagging, and they are among my least favourite performers. Someone ought to buy John Dough a big tub of Immac for his birthday.
