For fucks sake wake up and smell the coffee...the reason the industry is diluting/reducing/diminishing etc is technology means anyone can make their own porn dvds by ripping a tube site.The days when Pornoman Sullivan, John Lyndsey and his ilk could charge ?50 for a copy of a copy VHS tape are long gone.Go to pound land go to red tube etc etc etc and robert is your dads brother...porn is popular..people paying money for it...don't make me laugh.

Its the other way round as lots of porn stars put escort on their sites to earn more in a saturated industry, far to many people want admit this goes on in fear of being labeled.
The industry is now full of porn stars who escort & escorts that are porn stars so why worry as long as they are healthy & good in movies, peoples hang ups are causing a lot of hassle for porn stars who escort as they must be thinking sod the films as i earn more escorting anyway.
We have lost loads of our mainstream actresses over the years who have been made to feel they are wrong for doing an extra job which is shunned, its time for the industry to lighten up...its not as though we are 100% pure ourselves.

I suppose it doesnt really matter who ends up being in a porn flick as long as their at least half reasonable looking and those creating it to at least try and vary how their scenes play out instead of the usual by the numbers formula

So what is the solution? The solution is for the producers and directors to stop whinging about the quality of the girls and (even more often) the blokes on offer, and start thinking of more imaginative ways to present those sexy, professional experienced performers - the Wendys of this world - that they do have. Film them with pubes, film them shaven; film them wearing wigs, with and without Henna tattos, film them as blondes, brunettes, redheads and green-haired punks; film them in different clothes (not the tacky cocktail dresses of popular cliche, but the hooded Slipknot tops and pocket-strewn army jeans that young women actually wear); film them in different environments (in swimming pools with underwater cameras, on bouncy castles, across bar surfaces); film them in different scenarios, not just the same old slapper-in-suburban-semi thing (it's no surprise that the Laura Singer tennis girl scene is the one everyone remembers and seeks out from Ben Dover's oeuvre); film them in different combinations (a 2M/10F might be more expensive, but what a unique selling point on the shelves); don't film them the exact same way everyone else does. Credit the public with at least some desire for variety, some lust for life.

I don't think it's a shortage of new girls that's the problem here, rather a shortage of new ideas.
