There are very few people I'd let babysit my kids.

Michael Jackson was on the list of people I wouldn't let within 100 miles of my kids, but I can't remember there being such hysteria surrounding him.

Then again if Venables and Thompson parents had cared for their kids as much as I care for mine we wouldn't be having this conversation now.

They are the indivduals who want hunting down in my opinion, their kids were the result of their parenting, or lack of parenting I should say.

I live in Bootle and I know exactly what they did to his poor little body with the batteries and the paint they'd shop lifted. And on the subject of shop lifting (again off topic) why his mother is supposed to have let go of his little hand and let him wonder round, but my heart goes out to her now as it did then- no body deserves what they did.

But they were given a fair trial and found guilty- sentenced and served their time. Whether you think it's right or not it doesn't change the law- if you want to change the law become a lawyer or a polititian or an activist. Or even write to your MP to express your displeasure on your behalf, it's what they're paid for.

But a lynching mob here doesn't help, neither does name calling. It won't bring James back and it won't stop it happening again.

Agreed, but as the system has conspired, from the day of the murder, to give these scroats more rights than the rest of us, to excuse, forgive and justify their actions, and is now engaged in an arse-covering exercise to avoid the amount of freedom they've been given being uncovered, no-one believes anything 'the system' says anymore.

There was a report on the radio yeasterday saying that this poor kid David Calvert had had the police say, "It's not him". But they'd say that if it was, wouldn't they? Flawed logic, but thats what happens in a flawed system.
