So this is the new Who, is it?
A pale, moody-looking, Twilight-esque new Doctor for teen girls to swoon over, and for the male contingent a feisty Girls Aloud-alike in a variety of costumes. Very finger on the pulse, I'm sure. Yet the plot was just typical family-friendly Who (a lot of exposition and then a runaround ending).
BBC - either make a sexed-up Who or don't. Trend-based casting decisions like this seem a bit desperate.
