Absolute fucking classic.
Cameron has said judge me on our councils! Good to see a loud mouth just being a loud mouth who knows fuck all about the party he supposedly supports.
Thank you for the best giggle of the entire campaign.

Well if its the Councils who are in control of the country then why are we having an election today, this Labour goverment gave more powers to the councils than any previous goverment and never bothered to keep a check on them and this is where the fault lays, how can you blame Cameron when he has never been in power, i have read some stupid post but this thread beats them all !banana!

You didn't read the article, did you? Cameron says he looks upon what's been done in that borough with pride.
Ok, let's blame labour for allowing it to happen, for a minute. Those actions and policies were still Tory policies. The immoral decisions to turn away a pregnant girl away from a homeless shelter was still due to a Tory council's ideology. Why haven't you even acknowledged this? Do you think these policies should be adopted nation wide?

For the record i have never voted Conservative but have voted Labour, but to try and smear Cameron for something that happened which he would have had no control over is sheer stupidity, opposition parties have no say in how councils conduct themselves only the party in power can do that and the caring Labour goverment failed miserably

That is complete and utter tripe planeterotica. CONSERVATIVE councillors are allocated a budget, its up to them how they use it. They didnt have to shut homelesss centres, they CHOSE to,because they are tories and the homess are no concern of theirs.

I never asked who you've voted for. I just asked if you wanted what that council has done to be adopted up and down the country.

I'm not saying he had control over local councils. The article clearly states in the sub-heading: "David Cameron cites Hammersmith and Fulham council as a 'model' of compassionate conservatism."
Yes, that's right, 'compassionate'. Now, I'm not denying that that council was compassionate. They may have been the most compassionate council in the country, they're just very fucking prejudiced who they're compassionate to. And it's not the poor and vulnerable, that's for sure.
The article goes on: "George Osborne says the work they have done since then will be a "model" for a new Conservative government, while Cameron has singled them out as a council he is especially "proud" of."
Did you get that? That council should be a 'model' for government. I'm not blaming Cameron for ordering such immoral acts, I'm pointing out that he's backing them. He sees nothing wrong with that council's record. In fact, he's 'proud', nay, 'especially proud' of their record.
It's quite obvious you never bothered reading the article, Graham. Please do. It's important.

All councils can only be allowed to do what Central Goverment allows, and this was allowed to happen under a Labour goverment, FACT.

What's that got to do with it? You're allowed to pick your nose while eating but you don't do it do you? I'm allowed to point and laugh at an old lady getting run over and have her skull crushed but you wouldn't blame the law for allowing me to if I did, would you?
So you want central government to have more control at local council level? That would surely make local elections pointless, wouldn't it? It's very communist too. Are you a communist?
