A copy of "The photographer and the law" by Don Cassell (ISBN 0-907297-19-6) should be essential reading. There you'll learn about you obligations regarding:
The copright designs & patents act 1988
The obscene publications act 1959 & 64
protection of Children Act 1978
Post office Act 1953,
and other laws which you can be "had up" on. (Bet you didn't know you can get 3 months for "exposing to view (a picture) in a public place" under the Vagrancy act 1824 & 1898!
Its all written in easy to understand language, (If I got a distinction in that module at college, it has to be!)
