On the contrary Jim, a couple of comments in defence of Labour is no where as much as those who blast it all the time withthe condescending term Nu Labour

I would think politics and wanking shouldnt mix but hey, the OT forum was designed for those of us who wanted a break from smut...Ooh 8 minutes are up. I need to see breasts. Think I'll harrass Katie K.

I like her.

"David, can you see yourself and others administering sedation (Or worse) to me at some time in the future, on behalf of New Labour, for my "Rants?" You certainly do not tolerate dissent from the "Party Line" do you?"

Do not tolerate dissent from the party line?

I have already stated in this thread "Agreed that the Labour party could have done far far more to hit tax avoidance and tax evasion." and "I agree that there were restrictions on civil liberties that Labour brought in, some of which I disagreed with "

So this is an example of my "not tolerating dissent from the party line" is it?

For the last time, Jim, I am getting a tad irritated rather than amused by your misrepresentation of me.

For example, only recently, I put you right here

http://bgafd.co.uk/forum/read.php?f=3&i=235948&t=235898

I also corrected your misrepresentation of me, here

http://bgafd.co.uk/forum/read.php?f=3&i=235263&t=235215

In the light of the above, I can only assume that either you are misrepresenting me on purpose or you are suffering from early onset Alzheimers.

Whichever it is, your posts here are increasingly making you look very stupid.

Cheers
D

"I was refering to the fucking scroungers not your examples!!!"

My examples are the amounts given to all the unemployed on Jobseekers Allowance. So basically you are saying no-one on JSA is a scrounger then?

To remind you once again of what you said
"so that any arsehole with fuckall and never paid a penny towards the State can live the life of fucking Riley, high on the hog at our expense"

So if no-one on JSA is a scrounger, please give me an example of tbe benefits that these "any scroungers" get their hands-on to live the "life of fucking Riley"

I await your reply with interest. Some hard facts about the value of the benefits, please, rather than a tabloid story about a benefit scrounger driving round in a Rolls.

I am saying that those who are out of work and seeking work are not scroungers. I was on the dole when I became a civillian but never stopped looking for work and all I got was ?28 a week. Not a lot to bring up a family on, eh?
Since 1986 when I came back to civvy street I have been made redundant and after the change in the rules my Army pension was more than the dole so I wasn't entitled to a fucking penny!!!! Luckily I have been well employed and well paid for many years now and I am paying for these arseholes who will not seek work but sit on their fucking arses and take whatever the State hands them. They are the ones I am against you pratt.

Now, now Rodders, you ex-public service workers shouldn't get all het-up, you know. For ex-public service workers like yourself I would imagine being insulting is another example of how good for nothing you are, to use the description of public service workers provided by your good self.

Perhaps if you could concentrate on the question in hand, Rodders, since you are obviously struggling badly either to comprehend what you yourself said or to back it up.

What you did say Rodders, was these "arseholes" are living the life of Riley. You meant the unemployed benefit scroungers.

Now clearly Rodders, the life of Riley suggests a luxurious, carefree existence. What it does not suggest is living on cabbage water and spuds for a few days before yer dole money comes in.

Simple English for you Rodders, in capitals to make it easier.

HOW DO YOU HAVE "THE LIFE OF RILEY" ON THE DOLE GIVEN THE LEVEL OF BENEFITS AVAILABLE.

If you can't back it up with some facts about the fantastic benefit amounts that you get in your hand when you are unemployed then just say that. If you were just having a whine because you had a bad day at work, just say that.

But don't Rodders, please, waste our time!

What part don't you understand? Arseholes who do fuckall and scrounge benefits above and beyond the basic dole are taking the piss. That is what I meant.
Since when was soldiering a public service?

First off, you obviously don't even understand the implication of what you yourself said. I can't explain it any more easily for you, so I give up.

"Since when was soldiering a public service?"

Well the armed forces are part of the public sector and you can describe defending the nation against real or imagined threats as a service.

And in general, it was these workers that you were referring to elsewhere as good for doing nothing else. But I guess you weren't referring to yourself.......

Obviously not seeing as how I have been paying tax and insurance for many years.
Your idea of public services is a new one on me though.
