Cool things are finally sorted and agreed. I think its just a matter of people having seen the TFP thing and not having read the initial request and arguing about something that isnt even relevant here.
Cathy, I agree no one cares but you made the claim on your Walpole group posting Anyway nice meeting you
Not digging at Cathy Autumn, its a claim she makes on the Walpole group, just trying to provoke a fun arguement. And I do agree with the comments...however the original posting has nothing to do with photographers doing TFP so the comments arent really relevant here are they x
Yeah Cathy, your still on the Walpole agency web site as a current model for them I'm sure its something you havent thought about for years but its still there
TFP can be useful in a couple of instances at least:
1. If a model runs her own paysite
2. New models building a portfolio / gaining experience
A key question often raised is why should I work for nothing only for a photographer to make money and not deliver his side of the bargain (as is common).
I've done a couple of TFP shoots and tried to be as fair as possible, but as I'm not really out to make money this isn't a problem. If any models are looking at TFP I would recommend joint copyright and rights to 50% of any future earnings (should they occur). Also do not complete the release until you receive the promised images from the shoot.
I normaly avoid getting involved in such matters but I think you are being unfair to Cathy. And I am not just saying that because I fancy her. Bringing up issues of body shape like you did Denise is wrong. I am sure that Cathy would be too proffessional to get involved in a cat fight over boob size.
