Lots of interesting comments. The usual mix of Daily Mail versus the Guardian-istas. But hey, that's what makes debating fun. I've thumbed through a copy of The Voice a couple of times in my life - once in a Doctor's waiting room and another (I think) when I found a copy on a train. I might go and buy a copy in the next few days. I hope the person in the shop doesn't look oddly at me when I do !happy!

Its just you are always banging the race drum. You always want to debate about race but you should know what the responses are going to be from those who post on it

So whats new?

You say its interesting debate but its the same shit youve heard time and time before. I feel compelled to respond to have a balanced view but if anyone asks Im thinking youre right...

Whats the point? The Voice panders to a black audience. The BNP are never going to admit they sympathise with ethnics so really, whatis your point for it all Max

Or is the point that there is no point thats the point

The reason i was laughing at Essex Lad etc was because i never said the British Empire was racist! I said racism 'made the British Empire what it was'. If people want me to be pedantic about words then racism certainly helped make the British Empire what it was.

Anyway everybody has different meaning of the word racism. I only use my definition of the word when i write something. Racism doesn't exist in a lot of people's eyes. Normally the people who espouse and practice it.

Yes, I was aware of what you were laughing at.

As for "Racism doesn't exist in a lot of people's eyes. Normally the people who espouse and practice it".

Very true.

Dear Potty Mouthed Forumite.

"Terry says that Britain is the best place on this earth to live and you agree with him. I said that Britain is the most tolerant country on earth and you and a few others accused me of talking bollocks when Terry and I are expressing virtually identical opinions.

The difference? I'm white and Terry is black and like most socialists you are terrified of being accused of racism if you disagree with someone who's black. You, Johnson, are again like most left-wing ideologues a total hypocrite."

Where to start? I will keep it short to avoid you completely misunderstanding.

1. Believing that Britain is the best place on earth to live and not necessarily the most tolerant is not a contradiction. If I had stated or argued that Britain is perfect in every way it would be a contradiction.

2. I couldn't care less what colour Terry is.

That's enough time wasted on you, my dear, terminally confused, potty mouthed forumite.

Everyone's racist its just a matter of whether they are out kicking some other person to death because of their couloir/ethnicity or their ethnicity/colour flashes through your mind but isn't said aloud.

Saying only some people are racist is the same as saying only some people lie.

Accusing you of being a hypocrite (which you are) does not a potty mouth make.
