!laugh!

Liking Clegg to Farage isn't much different to liking Cameron to Ed Miliband because they are the heads of two main parties and 'talk a bit posh'.

Still.......he got to wind a few people up, which is, of course, the point of the thread.

Compared to how Labour did and other centre, centre left parties did throughout Europe it is a very good result. Earth shattering, no, but I never said that anyway.

Yep that's the tactic, because if ordinary, working people knew what their domestic policies were on such matters, the vast majority wouldn't vote for UKP.

I do love it when you snigger behind the bike sheds.

"Liking Clegg to Farage isn't much different to liking Cameron to Ed Miliband because they are the heads of two main parties and 'talk a bit posh'."

No it isn't. The point is about how voters view politicians who have had no access to government in the UK i.e. Clegg in early 2010 and Farage today and the way so many of the British public are taken in by this "new politics" and "taking on the political establishment".

Obviously, Miliband can't take that approach because he was in the Labour cabinet so your analogy between Clegg and Farage and Cameron and Miliband is shite.

Well, Sam thought your remark was hilarious. Can you respond positively to him please? He seems to be looking for forum chums.

"Now run along dear Cunty and do stop being impolite. It's very childish"

This is sarcasm, the lowest form of wit, and very impolite too.

At least I am straight to the point.

!grin!

Well Sam, to think David called me impolite earlier for a similar statement!!. What a hypocrite the man is!!

Maybe David should "run along" himself, and give us all a nice rest ;-)

Well it's not a good result since our MPs are elected on a first past the post method not PR so by that yardstick (the only one we use in this country) he did worse than Ming Campbell.
