Could it be that the single person who complained to the ITC is actually something to do with one of the european based XXX stations? They might be frightened of loosing market share if British based adult stations start showing more and more explicit scenes.

Political Correctness has nothing at all to do with repect for others - quite the reverse.
It is about a minority forcing their warped views on the majority without any consideration whatever for anyone's opinion except their own.
