Does it matter if a girl has been doing it bareback with whoever providing that she can provide upto date certs, who else a girl has been having sex with is her business, when you book a model for a b/g shoot do they ask you details as to who you have been having sex with.

Thats just it though. The first link in the chain is an escortmodel and client, and neither has certs. The second link is the escortmodel and another model. and one has certs and the other doesn't.
Ok further down the line everyone has certs but seeing as it can take some time for infections to show up, i guess it just makes the certs almost worthless.

TBH it amazes me that a girl (or guy) would be prepared to go bareback with a non-certed client... I hope the people stupid enough to do this are very few.

You work in a profession where the risk of an STI are part of the job description.
Also, what about the people models have sex with outside of the industry? Should all porn models be expected to be celibate except on set and with someone who has a cert.
Many a porn stud has used his sexual prowess to pull in a club and many a porn star has enjoyed casual fun.
Just make sure you get yourself tested monthly and if you get too worried about STI's, I suggest trying a different profession.
That might sound hard but it's pretty much the only options

You are right Harry. The adult industry reflects the real world at large.
The difference being those that do porn are expected to get tested every 28 days with no exceptions.
Yes the risks are always going to be there with escorting even though condoms are used as I like to remind people that condoms do break too.
Thats just the way it is. Somethings will never change

" guess it just makes the certs almost worthless" - short answer YES apart from HIV test.
Some STI's can take upto 12 weeks to show so certs really say your are clean 12 weeks ago.

Oh i totally agree with you about having a normal sexlife. And you make the point that the risks are low. That wasnt the point though was it ? ...
It was about an escort doing unprotected sex as a job (perhaps 6 clients a day every day of the week ?), and then working with a model with certs.
In this case the odds are not in the realms of a what normal sexlife would give.
Why would the model with certs work with this escort anyway ?

You imply HIV certs are definietley ok up to the month old. That isnt the case. I just wanted to point that out incase people are miss-guided.
Like any test, its actually only valid at the time the test was taken (even though its agreed in the industry the certs are valid for a month).
The reason it was set at a month was for practicallity. It was also originally agreed that as part of the "job" of being a porn model - it was up to the morals of the model to ensure they behave safely during that month, so that when they do work with others they are not providing a risk.

If you look at the original post again it was nothing to do with condoms. In fact the exact opposite ... an escort doing unprotected sex with clients and then working with a model with certs.
