Gary i think the dodgy certs are a result of sheer laziness and complacency.

For example, a performer who gets tested all the time and never nothing wrong suddenly thinks everyone else does and knows them anyway and more often than not because they are familiar with each other they dont look at test results.

Ive seen that relaxed attitude happen because people were so horny to get it on they were shocked at the end themselves. Yeah we joked about it and then a friend in the business of health and safety informed me the responsibility I play in this and I had a wake up call.

I actually had a cold sweat thinking about it ( a tad dramatic but true) then speaking to some producers casually (not UKAP. i do actually know non members too( and the attitude of one was: hey why should I care. I'm not doing the fucking and theyve consented to working with each other....Not a good attiitude.

Given what I know that people live colourful lifestyles off camera it makes sense to me to step this up now rather than wait for another Daryl James to happen.

If you are in the industry you wouldnt have to ask that question. One of the reasons we have a password protected forum because of it as certain "shit stirrers " would have a field day and cause chaos which I'm sure is the base of their formation in the first place.

Btw UKAP is not a closed shop to the industry (just the producers forum) or fans or amateur producers. Anyone wants to know or join can simply ask.

I know of two people that were ostracised by the industry for faking certs but I do not want to comment on what i dont know the facts about as I was not party to this.

Like I said, a lot of people in the industry know and a fan forum is not the best place to be perpetuating this kind of information.

NHS tests are the easiest to fake because the NHS dont care about the adult industry (some may argue why should they?)

Its just a little blue logo that can easily be knocked up in photoshop and printed in colour which is why it comesin for criticism from producers.

There have been a few in Europe but the online testing put paid to that as people want to see tests now before booking models there.

If it was just down to two people then things wouldnt have come to this. the thing is, people forget thier tests and hold up productions. Discrepancies on tests. Lost tests and every othe variation inbetween.

You get to hear some crazy stories when producers get together for Bellinis and cigars.

Top that with colourful sexual practices after hours (im not being judgmental) I just think it makes sense is all. Why waste time pointing fingers at bukkakes and parties and peoples sexual preference? it was always there and nowadays people are more up front with it.

We should be grateful for transparency but it also means we better strap that jimmy on extra tight too and step things up a gear before something happens and Her Majestys men in black suits and dodgy shades step in to make rules for us we dont like.

It is our responsibility to make this happen.

I have no problem defending the posting of this thread because if dodgy certs do not exist then there would be no need for a database, and as the database idea was floated long before i made this post and it appears that the majority are for it then you may assume there is a problem with dodgy certs, if anyone would care to met me and discuss this over a drink i would be more than willing,

NHS tests are looked at as dodgy because they can be so easily faked and it isnt easy to spot at all because they dont use embossed or watermarks.

So when people say a test is not worth anything they are certainly right about NHS tests...Oh and those tests that are just printed in black and white or part typed and hand written.

There is no uniformity so you can understand this is paranoid times for the adult industry.

I even heard a story where someone called the clinic and made a call to a clinic and it was just the number of a mate...tha seemed highly incredible to me but you have to understand people in the industry are passionate to se change on this.

I just hope we get it off the ground come December 5th.
