The intricacy of business is beyond me but definately intresting. Their biggest appeal to advertisers/ investors would be their userbase so seems not necessarily a good idea to do anything to discourage people using it.

I'm going off topic but thanks for engaging in a intresting discussion from which I've learned something new.
Would love to discuss the evolution of porn as I'm more the historical & social not business side in terms of knowledge

lol you're in danger of me boring you mind, I hold a view that it is porn that has pushed forward the personal comsumption of media & as a result has become a foundation of democracy.

Ok this is where my peers take the piss out of me, but basically how is democracy evaluated? By the ease of access it's cititizens have to infomation, the net for example would never have been anywhere near as popular if it hadn't been for porn. Granted there are people that abuse that freedom but as long as it's responsible & between consenting adults porn can never be anything less than a good thing.

I have to confess that my respect for some of those who produce or help to produce it has taken a knock in recent weeks, an inbox full of hate because I won't turn down a guaranteed paid job to work for someone who won't even cover my travel for example. It does seem a bit elitist at times in that speak ill of one & be dammed by all which is a bit unfair as unless one is willing to supplicates themselves to the bad they lose out on broadening their experience but then the positives of what you do far outweighs the negatives. I absoultely love how Pumpkin do things & I never feel like they're out to take advantage & I wish was of the cailbur to be a contract star, or the UK equilvent, with them.

Lol don't get me started on how wonderful & skilled the stars are.

All completely off topic & I know now I'm going to get a load of abuse mailed to me again, strangely from those that make a public big deal out of wanting to help, so would rather continue this discussion in private as really intrests me. Can I mail you Jack?

I agree totally that anyone under the age of 18 should be protected from adult material. However what facebook does is not necessarily target the image but targets the person just because they're involved in the adult entertainment industry. Of the 2 people in my list I know to have had pictures removed neither could really be considered adult or pornographic, also I think it somewhat insults it's members to think they're irresponsible enough to add a child & knowningly expose them to adult material.

There are profiles that genuinely do put not only children but people as a whole at risk & yet they are completely ignored my the FB police to the point that members have to start a campaign to get them removed.

Hi again Matt xx..i have my fan profile on Face Book with about 4000 friends but i can't say a single thing about the industry,who i am or what i do. People know its me by my face & if anyone wants to ask me anything i ask them to e-mail my addy etc thus keeping my account safe.

I agree with you Sparky but it seems a lot of girls playing it safe with bikini pics are falling foul and this is where it gets puzzling.

I have a friend in Prague who I can only think her profile was deleted because she is too glamorous because many people dont know she does that much porn since she works for Playboy and coffee table glossies

Slightly off topic(again) sorry, I'm not too keen on promoting myself openly on BGAFD as I get abuse mainly as a result so I just choose to respond on whatever seems a nice opportunity with nice people.

I had a really nice review written on here about something I did & it was ruined for me by the emails I got sent by others.
One of the 1st "Offers" I got after was when I was told to "Go fuck myself" by someone who knew more about the business than a "shit newbie" like me just because I said I wasn't happy paying my own travel for something I wouldn't even get pics out of. I'm not going to name or shame but more than a few will recognise the name & then I discover the same person sent a bad referance to someone who expressed an intrest in booking me even though I'd never worked or agreed to do what he offered & I got cancelled as a result.

People wonder why I moan & get arsey well it's because stuff like that isn't a unique occurance for me.
