Masie,

rather than take the risk, in what is a grey area, why not shoot the video, create a DVD image (technically an ISO file) and then dump it on an offshore server, just sending a link to the client. That way the risk is all theirs.

It's possible to mount and play ISO files in most computers, without needing to burn it to a physical media at all.

Just an idea

Hi Maisie

What you are suggesting is illegal pure and simple. All videos that are exchanged have to be certificated. To complicate matters you are also potentially liable under the Obscene Publications act, which is true even for certificated videos.
Apart from the police you may have to deal with the office of fair trading or the revenue both of whom are more active than the police in the area of private enterprise.
That said many people chance it successfully.

Thanks so much everyone, can I just be clear that as soon as my brain started working and i realised this was illegal i dropped it as soon as i thougt it up but good luck to the brave people playing in the grey areas . x
