As far as I'm aware the USA is where you should be getting your stuff uploaded and edited or any non EU country. It's a bit like the pirate radio ship, i've forgot the name of it, that broadcast outside of the british waters to the british people.

If you upload and edit in the US, you become subject to US law, like 2257. Contrary to popular belief 2257 doesn't apply in Europe if you have no US connections e.g server and/or billing company.
