I don't think anyone who posts here encourages piracy. What encourages piracy is a ?70 DVD pricetag and BM was warning about exactly that.

We all want the best, be it a house, a car, a video.
Let us all buy within our means and not insist that a BMW should be priced the same as a Ford.
None of you would consider "ringing" the cars, why do it with vids? And some of you would.

If the man chooses to sell at ?X, it is his business choice and he will earn or go skint, but it is his business decision. With no offence intended, - if his biz depended upon those who criticise/or cannot afford his prices, he would not have been the great unrivalled success that he has ben for over 20 yrs.

I certainly do not condone piracy. I buy original genuine films.

I am not sure where all this piracy talk started. I can assure Phil Mc that I never even mentioned piracy so I dont think he meant me by his remarks about losers etc. I buy originals because the quality is better.

Many people downunder fork out 400/500 aussie dollars for the latest Grange Hermitage with no guarantees that it will be any better or worse than a more affordable choice

Its all in your expectations...there is a big difference between loyal fans & punters IMO

Of course we can all speculate how any a porn vid costing double its nearest rival could be twice as good
