What the fuck? This is incredible as EVERY publisher I deal will not accept a set if it doesn't have a release and IDs with it. And they ARE checked out as in one case the legal bods at one publisher weren't convinced that the model's signature on my release matched that on the copy of her passport so we had to send additional releases with multiple signatures for them to check out. They made it perfectly clear that if I couldn't come up with this additional documentation I could have my set back and shove my invoice up my arse!!!

I think alot has to do with credibility if you are well know to supply the goods in a professional manner then everyone assumes you have the paperwork or more importantly you will not give the publisher any grief.
I remmeber once signing a indemnity for a company basically saying I had the releases, not showing them so I guess it will be different in other cases for other photographers. My soft-core stuff is in every HMV, Virgin etc and my distributer/publishe has never seen a release but he has been doing this for me for over 10 years.
The main area for me is payment, If I have a low budget then I tell the girls and pay them what I can afford, most take the job because with me they know another sweet one is around the corner. Look at Autumn she did a little soft-core job(well it should have been but Autumn being Autumn demanded shaged by the actor, make-up girl, my crew, me, and the BBFC's crew that were filming it all).... anyway the job was soft core for me last year for 100quid plus travel, I asked around and she was the first to say yes (not the only) shit money for a top porno girl ???? well Autumn was on the biggest German distributers stand expensise payed and a nice little bonus at the end (she got to feel up Remmington Steels 31cm'r) .......(no she got that for free) we all had a great time and the girls Bev, Magda, Anneta got pissed for 4 days were very rude and had a great time..So it swings and round-abouts.

Like Remmy say's get all the paperwork, get i.d's and also get a video release ie get her to say she is aware you are a professional who is going to sell the footage and she is doing the job of her own free will sort of thing.
Start of like that and it will be easier to get your stuff in everywhere
