'Kim- I didn't know that amateurs made films! I thought it was all producers in and out of UKAP and then sold via 'names' or sex shops. I thought your films sold via word of mouth.'
Are you joking with your statement? firstly i've done the R18 bit like most and didn't rate it compared to downloads, we use a amateur tag still because we don't forget where we came from in the first place & yes amateurs make films as good as any one else with a camera.
This is what i was saying to Terry about some people on here & their attitude to amateurs, the truth is if amateurs did have their names & films logged it would flood the industry putting stars, producers & themselves out of work which is why they don't bother. Both industries co-exist in their structure & both are organised & whats more they don't need each other.
As for my films sold via word of mouth? everyone must be talking quite a bit as i'm still here after 12 yrs & some of these other so called Pro producers last 5 mins so who's doing it right?
Its obivious your not clued up to the workings of the industry looking at your remarks so i am not offended just amused.
Kim

BGAFD has been listing VoD releases for a long time now. Our site is listed against many titles, for example...

well, actually you may be in the same boat. what will your company do when there are no films for you to stream? you will have to switch to scenes only and will the bgafd list your output then?
i'm aware your post was a thinly veiled plug but my point remains. you "release" other people films and one day they won't produce nearly as much films as we know them. i'm sure the big companies like private and vivid will but will it be british content?

Any producer can package up half a dozen scenes into a "movie". In fact about 99% of porn movies in recent years are just compilations of scenes. There's still plenty of new content around - I can't see that the switch from physical to digital delivery should be the end of the industry.
Another point to make is that although DVD has declined, there are still a lot of people without broadband (60% I read recently, although that seems high). I think that DVD will continue, at its reduced level, for longer than many of us expected.

right, but in future why would they want/need to? the only reason producers do this now is to make the product more appealing and give better value for the money a customer is willing to spend.

it won't and no one suggested it would.

Thats interesting JB..Your site gets mentioned but other sites that feature girls who have never done dvd releases doesnt get mentioned.
Hmmm. This must be down to sponsorship perhaps?
