I believe im correct in saying that Suzie Best is not Suzie's actual name....if you get my meaning!??! I only pick up on this in that its not an unusual or gimmicky porn star name just a rather sensible psuedonim. Ive often wondered why she felt the need to change her porn name in this way and why she chose "Suzie". It does suit mind!

When i started i didn't think about an alias so i just used my own name Kim, people ask what my full name is & i just say its Kim as there are a lot of Kim's around now & they all use a their surnames where i don't.
If i honestly thought i would still be doing this over a decade later i would have picked a more marketable name.

Is Max Tranmere your real name? If not, why not? (same question to everybody else here in the interests of fairness) I only ask because there is a long list of names over on the right hand side of this window of what are clearly pseudonyms and what may be real names.

I suspect porn performers choose false names for the same reason people who post on porn forums choose fake names...

hugodown, the differnce is that people on here can remain anonomous because no one has seen what they look like, therefore no one will know who they are. In porn everyone has seen your face so using a phoney name makes no differnce, people will know it is you.

Although I do think that performers using a fake name is still valid because it does give a layer of insulation from the non-porn world... up to the point where a friend/acquaintance/ old school chum/employer or family member stumbles across a scene with you in when you've been trying to keep it quiet!
