I find this discussion most interesting as I was asked ahead of this
Court case to shoot in the past week a test scene for a new Euro-to-
be-shot fisting site (young guys doing teen girls). Perhaps the producer
was psychic ? Scene went off well. Girl seemed unfazed by it.
I rather agree with Jim Slip`s comments on the British case. It takes a
brave man, or even a brave pornographer, to criticize male gays in
these PC times !

I wonder which one takes more balls, critisizing gays 'for getting special treatment' or not pleading obscenity to fisting dvds?

Fisting may have been ok because we're living in socially enlightened and tolerant times.

It means that its ok to allow gays to fist each other in the arse because...well thats what gay guys do all the time innit???

I bet the outcome wouldve been different if it was a guy fisting a female and wo betide the man on trial with a femi-nazi as the judge

Isnt fisting to compensate for the lack of penis? Otherwise why would anyone indulge in such an activity?

Question for OEJ and Jimslip
If you were on the jury and you saw the gay fisting dvds etc would your verdict be 'obscene'.

When it comes to gays, I wouldn't care if they were trying to squeeze their whole legs plus a chest of drawers up each other's arseholes and it was consensual! It's all role play and like OEJ says, "That's what gays do."

So I'd find it not obsecene.

If the case were brought against two girls, again I'd find it not obscene.

If the case was brought against a scene with a girl and a guy obviously having fun, again I would find it not obscene.

However, I am one of these "strange" men who hates the depiction of gross abuse of a women by a man for titillation. Maybe because society is already riddled with spineless jerks abusing and bullying their wives and girlfriends, I can't see the appeal. So in the light of this if I were to witness a DVD in which a woman was being fisted in a brutally, agressive manner in a so called, "Domination" scene and the woman appeared to be distressed, whether this was acted or not, I'm afraid I WOULD find it obscene.

The definition of obscenity in English Law is material, "That has a tendency to deprave and corrupt" and in my opinion there would be many who would seek out such material and be adversely affected by it. Its very existance, if legallised, condones the depictions within and so it could be argued such material could launch a few psychopaths on the road to the serious assault of women. In other words I believe this kind of material could, "Deprave and corrupt" those men who harbour a psychotic hatred of women. There is a small chance some could be pushed over the edge and I'd have to ask myself. "Haven't we got enough murdered and assaulted women in our society already?"

Now that Vincent Tabac, that great fan of violent porn, is rotting in jail, I wonder if he would agree wth me?

Would you find the staged rape between the gays 'obscene'?

If the characters withing the depction were of similar stature and the "Victim" was obviously role playing, no I wouldn't find it obscene. If on the other hand there was a scene depicting a group of older men say enticing a youthful looking lad back to their mansion, brutally raping and fisting him and then throwing him into a swimming pool and leaving him floating, "Dead" face down, yes I would find this obscene.

It's all about context in the end.

I wouldnt find it obscene at all.

In fact Id be questioning the judge why are we wasting public funds so I can sit in a courtroom watching gay arse fisting videos and make him realise just how ridiculous all this obscene stuff is.

I might appear shocked at some things sexual but this is different from classing it obscene and having a man found guilty so he can pay a whopping fine or custodial sentence for it.

He got off lighter than me for what I did and what I was charged with was tame in comparison but it was a different time altogether when Charing Cross Clubs and Vice justified their annual budget by raiding and convicting for porn but probbaly swapped the tapes nightly "for research purposes" between themselves every night

OEJ wrote '.. but probbaly swapped the tapes nightly "for research purposes" between themselves every night.'

In the 60s and 70s the old bill in the West End, esp DCS Moody and others, used to invite the porn dealers round to the station to buy back what had been confiscated earlier.
