Dennis DID do a hammer film, Scars of Dracula but his worse film was a in TV series called Out of the Unknown, where in his featured episode, he was a young man that fell in love with a mannequin (taylors dummy, Steve) that comes to life in his imagination. The mannequin was played by Carol Lynley. He shuns his mates and ordinary girls to be with this dummy, and whenever he is with anyone else, the dummy stays a dummy, but once they are alone, Hey Presto!!! If they EVER do a remake, lets put S56 forward, no need to act Steve, be yourself ;-)

Sounds very much like Mannequin that was made in the 80's with Andrew Macarthy and that horn inducer Kim Cattrall...only not!
