GBH was a bit off everything. Bleasedale said Michael Murray was more interesting than hatton, and he's right. Lindsay and Palin have never been better, and there are wonderfully surreal moments in it---especially the Dr Who convention at the hotel. Lindsay's face as the lift doors open and his already scrambled brain has to take in what his eyes are seeing.
Also featured a pre-Brookie Anna Friel, and a pre-Corrie, A&E, Bill etc Jane Danson (credited as Jane Dawson) as Murray's schooldays tormentor. Oh, and the headmaster was the original Kryten in Red Dwarf.
