Yep! you are correct mate...The Special Delevery is the one with the silver sticker on it and is barcoded and tracked through the offices it reaches.
This item should never be lost....If they do then you must complain as they should have a record of where it should be..
Recorded delivery comes in with the normal mail 1st and 2nd but is treated as 1st as far as I am aware and is scanned when sent and once it has been posted to its customer...it usually has a piece of paper that comes with it, that is handled by the offices for them to use.
But you are pretty much spot on.
