But Steve, its FRIDAY!! You ALWAYS have fish on a friday, this might cause irrepairable damage to your otherwise precise routine.

I've never had a curry just the smell of them being cooked turns my stomach over something rotten.

I'm only going by what my father experienced not that long ago on an Indian Boat....curry for 5..came with 10 2 litre jugs of water
F...ckin hot....the old man drank 5 pitchers in less than 8 minutes
We supposebly have some authentic Indian restaurants as well but nothing prepared him for the heat
cheers

PS Why do people have this love for things that literally set you on fire
Call me dumb but it doesn't seem like a smart thing even given how nice curry tastes
Still remember my last curry 1982 on a year 10 camp....a VESTA curry over a camp fire...haven't been near the stuff since....VESTA that is....lol

But when I was in IRAQ during my National Service(something I wish was re-introduced) curries of some sort were served up in the Mess, needless to say I never partook of them even then much preferring whatever other food alternative there was. This was way back in 1955-6. By the way I was in the RAF but not in flying role.

I agree they aren't all hot and the hybrid varities that have come from 1st & 2nd generation migrants are simply to keep the Lazy 'I can't Cook' Aussies interested.Remember seeing a few
programs about these migrants exporting such produce back to their countries
Take the humble Pizza for example
I had a traditional pizza at 3 different places(never base an opinion on one meal although in VESTAs case understandably I did) in Italy in 1990-compared to what the West make sadly it was nothing more than tasteless cardboard-no doubt very healthy but thats not what food is about IMHO
Taste before health
Yes Vesta and every other so called healthy processed foods have a lot to answer for.If you took the lethal doses of salt out of these 97% fat free ultra nutritious they would taste worse than they already do-A LOT WORSE
cheers
