On Friday I spoke to a friend at the Plymouth National Marine Institute (science department) he told me that the levels of toxins that are being quoted are 2 parts per million of a milllionth of a gram.
This is minute, a prawn or crab that scavenges for food has much higher levels of toxin, so if a salmon eats a wild prawn it would be more contaminated.

Putting this in context how many of you use aerosol deoderant ??
Each time you spray you introduce 2,000% times more toxins (Aluminium from the can) directly into your body...sobbering thought isn't it.

I tend to ignore most of this bollocks, with friends in the know who eat & drink whatever they like despite issuing these warnings. I was told that the newspapers lap up this shit, and it keeps them in employment.

Me.
Or Ben, possibly.
Or maybe someone else.
Anyway, I've mailed him just in case, otherwise he'll be on here flaming me for human rights abuses. Or possibly cruelty to salmonkind.............

.......I tried translating that spiel on the ero boxcover but my Dutch is no longer up to it- though I don't think there's any mention of her pissing. And I have the nasty feeling that it's Dutch-subbed. In either case, I'll stick with stb on this one, and maybe buy another title from ero to check it out.

Nowt wrong with salmon. Its another hysteria media story. It hasn't worried the big stores either as its still full price and selling. I don't eat meat nowadays, but do eat fish, especially salmon and it doesnt worry me one iota.
Farmed salmon do eat and swim in other salmons piss and shit, and I understand the Scottish Salmon Industry is shitting itself with all this hysteria. They'll still get MY regular order from Sainsburys!!

The West London of my youth is now on dvd
