It's illegal here as well to trespass on peoples land but most hunts don't give a toss about it.
The majority of the people who go on the hunts (with dogs) think that they are superior to us normal folk and aren't going to worry about a little matter of being on someone elses land.
Onto the american sports then they do have cult followings here in the UK.
(U.S.) Football did have a big following from it's introduction on Channel 4 in the early 80's although I don't believe it's quite as popular now. I'm a 49ers man myself from the days of Montana, Rice, Rathman and Steve Young. Not so good now though.
Baseball aired on our screens via Ch 5 in 1997 and I was hooked instantly. We get two live games a week on Ch5 which is the same game that you will get coast to coast in the states on Wed and Sun. Basically the Espn games I think.
Now there's also NASN which is a satelite channel which shows around 250 live games a season.
I never like to follow the majority and conform so the Yankees were never an option and I quickly got into the Red Sox-Yanks rivalry with the curse, Peskey's pole.......etc.
Unlucky with your Astros last night. Although it was nice (from a totally neutral perspective of course) to see Scott (rock'n) Rolen smack that arsehole Clemens for a two run shot.
My best mates an Astro's fan and we would probably have fallen out in the Series anyway so at least we have avoided that.
Hopefully the curse will end this time but the Cards are goint to be a tough nut to crack.
