Because, my dear little Dawn, those of us who give to charity give to real charities for people who are poor, sick, hungry or suffering the consequences of oppression or civil war. Some of us give to animal charities, to cancer research charities, the NSPCC, the red cross, medecins sans frontieres, people like that.
