Given some of the posts here does it really warrant reasoning whether its ok to kill an animal based on its level of intelligence or emotions?

The killing of that swan was just plain wrong. Just because humans have the power to do so doesnt make it any more right.

Kind of like that guy who was pissed off at his girlfriend shooting 33 people dead in Virgina. Whats so special in that girl that he couldnt find in another million girls across the world to warrant snuffing out 33 people lives in his anger?!

Some people should really stop and think once in awhile. if he was that pissed off he shouldve just taken his own life.
