Phil,

Would you sick a needle in your arm? Cannabis is not addictive and as you have discovered it affects people in different ways. I like to puff before a workout but others can't move!

I can't get any at the moment and I am trying to limit my drinking wine to two or three glasses a night. Wine is about fifty pence a bottle here!

Mike.

Hi Mike, hope you have sunburn !!. No mate I would not shoot up, I have seen guys in jail make a set of works up out of a Bik pen and shoot themselves up. I just believe Cannabis should be treated like a medicine it does have properties that help some people so it should be controled. Mike I don't know if you know this but when I was in the tin pale they gave me a mixture everyday on sick call. It was like a Benilin but thicker. Me and all the noisy ones got it. It had the effect of dope it slowed everything down and you could sleep for hours during the day. The Scottish jails used it as a control we all lined up and got it as the grief to say no was to much, anyway you were sleeping half the day. It had real downers after a few day's on it making you want it sooner. I have always prefered to handle my anger and other emotions etc without drugs at one point a few years ago dope was going on around me non stop so I started using it, it worked slowed me down, calmed me down at night, but then I started looking for one in the morning as well. That was the stage I stopped and it was not easy as skunk was free and around me, but I am glad I did. Like you say its good for some but bad for others so it needs to be contolled thats all,

Phil McC

Phil,
I never took the "liquid cosh" because then you are under their control by an addictive substance. I just had a nice smoke of hash every day! It does not make me sleep at all : really it is an hypnotic that tends to intensify your mood and it is useful as a medicine and for creative artists.

I don't believe that the state should control the people, especially when lots of them are using psychotropic substances such as alcohol or coke. No the state should merely educate people about the effects and possible side effects of all plants and substances.

Mike.

It's purposes not porpoises Warren.

I'm not usually one for pointing out such mistakes but I'm intrigued as to why you've miss-spelt this word twice in 2 days.

Is it a genuine mistake, or a secret love for marine life that you cannot quell your enthusiasm for?

Keith,
Perhaps you were very careful because you had a puff and that is why you found your way home safely.
