Punk was about in the 50s and 60s but it wasnt called that then it was prob labelled freakbeat or something like that EG Kinks were punk Who,Small Faces and many thought Troggs were but as Reg Presley once said we werent a punk band.

Siouxsee and the Banshees started out a Punk band but Join Hands was complete tripe to my ears.
