Agh.......it sounds like a good way to spend a week; reading and chatter with a friend.

Sadly my book reading has had to evolve around the sciences of late, but when I do read for pleasure it mainly evolves around philosophy. Never really been a sci-fi fan but Will Self always made me laugh. Not really read much though.

Currently in the middle of A.C. Grayling's take on Descartes, with the latter also enjoying reading and chatter throughout Dutch towns.

The older I get, the harder I find to get into fiction which is sad really as I'm probably missing out on lots of good stuff.

As to Orwell's site: I think I'll still purchase 1984 & Animal Farm in the book format, while reading through his essays over the weekend, from the site. I find reading on a computer screen just isn't as much fun as a book late at night with a nice cup of cha!

Anyway, I'm off to do that very thing before bed.

G'nite Wazza, and thanks for the literature tips......BS Johnson's stuff has grabbed my attention.

Has to be milk last. You have to allow the tea bag to stu in the cup for a while, once the tea has the right colour take it out and add milk. Putting milk in first cools it down and doesn't allow the tea bag to do his full job. I bet it pisses the tea bag off too.

Tea bag first - must be Tetley's.
Boiling water next - from kettle.
Semi-skimmed milk - from carton.
No sugar - from nowhere.
Then drink - ahhh lovely!!
