How! Could you possibly generalise like that? So your saying everyone who lives in Gloucestershire, Wocsestershire etc would actually prefer to have thier lives wrecked and to have lost all their belongings....anyway who is "they" or is this just another incoherant stab at anyone and everyone.

He did go Keith, but the lazy cunt took a Helicopter. To be honest nobody could have predicted all this shit, every once in a while stuff happens, as in the Tsunami etc.....I personally dont go for all this climate change stuff being the culprit, there has always been shifting weather patterns.
Do me a favour though....please dont start 'admiring' GB.

Re: Floods
Well, I live in Reading, but hopefully (!) far enough away from the Thames to be affected by any flooding...I think Pangbourne got the worst of it the other day in our area, along with a bit of Lower Caversham.
BTW Mr Rasputin, where do you live? Sounds like you've not got much sympathy with the so-called Shires...

It's moreover the fuckers running the shires who are Cunt-Fucks, this area is fucking crap, for EVERYTHING.
I can't say about Shropshire, Worcestershire, Hampshire, etc, but as for Gloucestershire, it IS listed as 1 of the top 3 most expensive places to live in the UK, above that of London. The rate of property costs/petrol/food is way above the average for the country, but the cost of wages is measley in comparison.
The "Fat Cats" (exactly fat cats, fat money hungrey robbing cunts) who run this part of the country don't give a fuck for their peoples needs, only what they can screw out of them.

Lizard, the planet is going through a Climate Change/Global Warming, but it is NOT some new fangled problem that man has created, it is a phenomenom that has been scientifically proven to have happened at least 5 times in the last 850,000 years. !shocked!
Scientific examination of thousands of seperate pieces of deep layer ice have shown remarkable similarities to the happenings we are going through right now. !shocked!
Yes, mankind hasn't helped, by all the crap we have done to destroy rainforests, churn nasty gas/chemical shit into the atmosphere, but NO, it's significance on the planet's overall change, in comparison to previous similiar events is very low. !tut!
YES, I will admit it, I watch way too much Nature/Discovery/Science programs on telly, LOL. !nerd! !nuts!

Re: Floods
I'm just getting a tad pissed off with everything being blamed on climate change, and global warming, I think I'll stop paying wages to the good folk who work with me and blame it on 'climate change'...

Re: Floods
Keith, down near the start of estuary (Thames River), they have started turning over parts of coverted farmland back to flood-plain marsh, & purposely breeched the defence protection in certain areas, as a way to help alleviate the amount of water coming up the thames in serious high tides. I have heard that they (Government/NRA/Local Council) are planning the same strategy on the River Seven.
