Given the demand for any story to fill the space
My old man told me plenty of stories that never made it to print in the 70s/80s while working for thefire brigade that mirror a lot of todays reportings which people seem to think never happened In my day

Does the American legal system still treat cocaine users more leniently if it's in powder form (more accessible to the wealthy; predominantly white kids) than those who are crack users?
If ever there was a demonstration of the inequalities in society, that was it.

Very true about LA
Some say its down to the immigration from central america
Not surprising given how cheap life seems to be in the third world
I suspect if it were a matter of life or death we'd pretty much act the same way
