Wazzakins, I'm astounded that you need to seek clarification of the word 'ergo'. You are indeed correct to say that it means 'therefore'.

Tis true that is wasn't vintage Coogan but still better than a lot of
recent so called comedy on tv. Paul & Pauline Calf were good creations
being a good observation of the type of people about at that time as
well as being very funny

I do agree that he has always had a strong support cast in his shows

Wasn't keen on his singer Tony Ferrino(?) though
