Pete Doherty is not her boyfriend - she's married to Blake Fielder-Civil

Well, I do not belong to those people who regard a drug-death as heroic. It is stupid and self-inflicted, full stop.
The one problem I have with Winehouse is the feeling that she is using her life style to draw attention to herself. In that respect, she's isn't as bad as the usual party girl/boy, because she clearly has some musical talent to boot, but I do get ill feelings when I sense the motto "no publicity is bad publicity" being put into practice once again.

...and of course it makes better copy for the tabloids than the stories of
all the unknown kids [possibly more talented, and in a socially more
useful way, although they've had the bad luck not to have had a hit record,
or got their tits out on BB] who have similarly 'fallen by the wayside'.
No Priory for them, or fat rehab-interview contracts; just a slow and
lingering death.
