As for "Liverpool totally outplayed Viilla and the 3 points were deserved" we all know instances of teams that dominate a game and yet lose! Didn't you watch the Man City v Man Utd game? Should Utd have got the 3 points for dominating the game in spite of losing 1-0? If not then your own arguments regarding the Villa game are as spurious as most of your comments.

I admit Chelsea were gifted a point by the referee... why can't you admit Liverpool were gifted two against Villa? Are you really that myopic and small minded???

I've said this before and I'll say it again, refereeing is a thankless task but at least the pros get paid.

Go to a local park game on a Sat or Sun and see the torrents of abuse that they get, some even get assaulted and I've seen many a ref get a reception committee in the car park after the match from a disgruntled player.

One of my best friends father was a local league ref for donkeys years and he used to take his boys to see him ref the games, which basically resulted in two 10-12 year old boys watching their father get called a cunt for 90 minutes.

I can't understand why he took them myself.

I said in a previous post about Styles that it's time to move on. He made a major cock up and it's only right he's accountable and suspended for that howler but make it within reason.

I am pissed off that he cost us 2 points but as long as his mistake was an honest one, and there's no reason to suggest otherwise, then what can be done about it. We're all human and we all make them.

I've seen rapists and paedophiles get a better press than Styles has today and as I said before it's time to let it go and move onto the next game.

I cannot imagine why anyone would be willing to referee a game, particularly when they're not being paid to be called hurtful, abusive names for the best part of two hours.

You've always had a problem when somebody else dares to have a different opinion than yours but why don't you try and get counselling for that and while your there maybe they can help you out with the rest of your personality. They'd have to find it first but hey.............there's always hope.
