Oh I've seen those soccer riots in the news and yeah I do know that these white suburban cops here in the Chicago area because nothing goes on spectacular there they pretty much look for trouble and believe me they don't get treated like blacks do. The circumstances on which police brutality happens is different here than it is there against whites. It don't matter whether you're a criminal or not, just being black is enough. You could even be an executive driving a nice car (a black exec) and just because, you'll get stopped. As Richard Pryor once said "It's a black thing! You wouldn't understand"! Heck, it wasn't til video clips of that white girl getting beat up in a bar here in Chicago got around the world that this so called mayor we got even wanted to do ANYTHING about it!. The joke going around is, "you can beat up a black person all you want, but don't beat up a white person". It's the only way a policeman would get fired.

I watched a news clip of the Katrina disaster, it showed (I think) three cops arresting a black man who had measly 1/4 bottle of whiskey in his hand, while all of them up to their waists in filthy water.
They were more interested in trying to arrest him rather than trying to help the poor people who were genuinally suffering.
I'd have just made him empty it, but that's me.

You're exactly right. It ain't just you but any right thinking policeman/policewoman would've done that. And would've probably sent him on his way or made sure he got home safely.

Oh I don't blame them if they know the U.S. is one big sham. Some of us here been trying to tell people that for 20 years know. I live in the south suburbs of Chicago Illinois, called Harvey which is about 10-15 minutes south of the city limits of Chi-Town.
