**Honestly**, wazza. Who are you trying to kid?

Eric replies: Okay wazza, you win. We all love you really .... You're the life and soul of the forum (and presumably of any other forums you frequent as well) .... Your threads are wonderful ... Things just wouldn't be the same without you ... Any criticism of you is totally unjustified, nonsensical and without foundation ... We need you to "show us the way" and to "tell it like it is" ...

Happy now?

Just as a postscript, wazza - I don't understand why you're so bothered about what a bunch of (to quote fudge) "relatively anonymous" blokes on an Internet forum think of you or your opinions.

As someone else (can't recall who it was) very correctly pointed out in another thread I read recently, we all have our good side and we all have our twattish side - both of which come to the fore sometimes.

And you're no exception.

You **can** be an utter twat.

But you're also an intelligent bloke who's good at arguing his corner (even when talking utter bollocks !wink! !laugh!). I've said this before.

You say "if you don't like wazza, or disagree with him, then don't reply to his posts" etc. etc. And granted, that's one argument.

But if you start a thread about yourself as you've done here - with the obviously deliberate aim of having others comment on you and your posting habits etc. - then you have to take the rough with the smooth, and not get too surprised or disgruntled when it doesn't turn into an unadulterated orgy of wazza back-slapping and accusations of attention-seeking are levelled at you.

But on the grand scale of things - does it really matter?

Peace.

What's to be done? Rum, sodomy and the lash ... in reverse order. Only kidding .. he's not a bad lad. Perhaps this will illuminate the enigma that is WZR .. it's by Julien Temple about John Lydon:

' He has a strange way of expressing enthusiasm for a project. He was never really openly keen on anything, or if he was, an outsider would not be able to appreciate it from his behaviour. For example, he might be extremely abusive about something, yet this was his own way of being enthusiastic.'

Does anything need to be done? WZR will continue to be WZR .. sometimes he shouts spite, at others he spouts shite, sometimes he makes cogent well constructed points, sometimes he's wistful and borderline warm. There's a WZR for every occasion.
