I read the first half of the enormous first page- in erms of content, it's interesting enough, but the writing style does grate.

There are too many reccurrent themes and phraseology, "three-piece suit" "even white teeth" "knickers up her arse" and he is detouring way too much without really getting to the point.

A chapter generally has the structure: does visits to the porn shops; pays his licence money; a problem he has to sort out; a wee-bit of argy-bargy; a close-call; some filming; and then either a blowjob from his talent, or taking her up the arse to end the chapter. There is also a bit too much self-aggrandising for me too.

But, if he got a good, honest editor, this could actually be good; or if he collaborated with a writer to do it. His style at the moment is enough to convey the mesage, but it is patchy and needs a bit of verve.

I wonder if many of the characters in the story are still kicking around?

C'mon Mike, tell us if 'Susan' the hot slut is still about, or Big 'Les' of the Yard.
