I don't think its a particular breed that needs banning. If people that owned dogs were more responsible then there wouldn't be nearly as many problems as there is now. Bring back dog licenses! I have a bull mastiff and an american bulldog, have also had a dogue de bordeaux (all dogs over 10 stone). My family have run a rescue escpecially for american bulldogs that have been bought for the wrong reasons. I have personally never been attacked or over powered by an american bulldog (or big dog) but have had a lot of toy poodles and yorkshire terriers try and have a go. If a breed of animal should be banned just because it could overpower someone, then should bodybuilding be banned incase some muscle freak goes on a rampage? The dog is the symptom of the problem, the owners are the real problem. I'm sure Marino would have a lot to say on this subject too.
