I was in my local boozer last night and ii am yet to meet a person that 'really' supports this idea.

i personaly think it will go away.

I'm off to the game(Chelsea v Liverpool) now.Sorry about my OTT outburst about scousers !happy!.It's only the gloryhunting Liverpool fans i hate. Then again i hate ALL gloryhunting football fans.

May the best team win !wink! !drink!

It is a stupid idea and I agree in that I've been in the pub over the weekend myself and it's been a big topic of conversation and I've not heard one football fan say they think it's a good idea.

According to todays papers though most of the Premier Lge club chairman think it is and have signed off on it and where as like yourself, I hope that it goes away, personally I think we haven't heard the last of it.

Apology accepted on the scousers thing. My reaction was a bit too strong as well.

It was a crap game today but then the games between the sides haven't been that good over the last few years as they've played each other too many times and probably know each other too well.

you being a city fan?Man City?

Truth to tell I've got no connections with any Club(Australian Born) although I've followed Derby County since 1975(2 leagues in 5 years,a far cry)when i first saw them on TV

Their as good an example of a yo-yo team as you will get
When Jim Smith was Manager a few years back he made the comment that us smaller clubs is to develop players then sell them to stay alive...we are a feeder club

Pretty sad indictment when its all said and done

Sport has become Big Business and thats that

I can still recall when Man U always finished 2nd to Liverpool in the 70/80s
and the only one to break the run was Everton

The likes of Nottingham Forest won Europe,West Ham,Aston Villa,Tottenham were actually winning trophies & the F.A.Cup was a competition where dreams came true

Make you right mike, it's a disgrace, but i think will probably happen(though not as quick as the bigwigs like)
I'm a bit pee'd off with football these days, to be honest. If it was for the social side of things i'm not sure i would bother.
White Hart Lane doesnt have the same buzz for me that it use to have.
